Great session at West Hove, with Boards magazine turning up. I rigged 4.5m, almost opted for the 4m because it was really windy as we were rigging, but thankfully collective thinking kept me on the 4.5m and ET70 and it was just about right on balance. Launched and first wave was a belter and kept reforming through to the inside. There was a bit of a lull mid afternoon, with the rip hindering progress on the inside, but it seemed to fill back in again towards 4 o'clock. Some good swoops etc on lots of head high waves; most memorable being a laid out bottom swoop when my opposite boom arm was in the water.
